Legacy was great. From the intake to the groups to individual therapy. The staff is what made it so welcoming. Monica and Eliza and Erik made my check in go smooth and eased my nerves. We learned many things to help us out on our recovery. Stephanie and Brad were also amazing on anything we ever needed help with. Big shout out to Rose, Cynthia, Ramon, Matt, Clarissa, Sharren. Legacy healing was the best part of my recovery journey and it has changed my life forever. All the staff here was amazing but Kevin, Mikey, Mel and Jay were some of my favorites. The clinical staff and nurses helped me too all my needs. The one on one sessions with my therapist Sarah helped me a lot meeting at least once a week with her. They provided and got me everything I needed towards my recovery. If you were thinking about coming too a treatment I’d highly recommend legacy healing.

I had struggled with cocaine use, for thirteen years. My body had began to reject the experience and my organs were screaming for help, from my interior. I ignored their cries for help and ended up
being admitted to the hospital, for chest pains, related to cocaine usage. The night of my release, I decided to purchase cocaine, and use. I realized that there was a part of me outside my conscious mind that was plotting to continue in this cycle despite the evident destruction that was brought forward. I chose to call, for help. Legacy Healing Center took me in, with open arms. It was astonishing to witness that through my honesty in all directions, the universe was able to catapult me into the arms of a community that has done the work to accumulate the tools, for re-alignment with one’s true nature. Legacy Healing Center is divinely held.

Legacy healing center has been the best experience for my first time in addiction recovery. The staff Brad, mel, Kevin, Mikey, Stephanie, Amanda and nurse v, and Tyrone and all the medical staff were all on point 24/7. They made me so comfortable, and secure for the uncomfortable stages of my detox to my final days of completing my 30 days of residency. I am so greatful for my time at Legacy. The house and amenities are amazing on their own, but the real gift is the staff. The group leaders like Dawn, Clemmy, Alexa, and Harold gave me so many tools and knowledge to help maintain my sobriety after leaving. My therapist, Miguel, helped me dig into the cause of my addiction to alcohol and addressed childhood traumas that have played a key role in my addiction and key ways to proceed forward sober in my life. The tech staff like Peter, Steven, Ivan, Clarissa, Dom, Zack, Luke and Mel were nothing short of amazing. My case manager Rebecca made my process so smooth and easy regarding my leave from my job and dealing with my HR paperwork. I feel truly blessed and know God lead me to Legacy. I leave Legacy with all the tools I need to maintain my sobriety, now I have to put those tools to work. My journey does not stop when I leave. legacy was was a life saver to help me any many other turn their life’s around. there is all around care from addiction, mental and physical. the staff is amazing, they are the definition of helpful. the amenities that are available from the hot tub, gym and entertainment help create a healthy and helpful environment. i was extremely impressed all around. the house and view are spectacular. i highly recommend to anyone and everyone that wants help to legacy.

Wow. I feel so blessed I had the opportunity to be here. All the staff were incredible, friendly and helpful is an understatement. I arrived here in pieces after being on opiates all of 2021 and then transferring to suboxone in 2022 until I came here to detox. The great doctors tapered me and then came the hell, but I made it through because of all of the support they give you here. I recommend Legacy as one of the best places to get healed. Ron G.

Have been here for 28 days now for alcohol addiction and the staff has been wonderful. The houses are so comfortable and such a beautiful setting in the Hollywood Hills. I have learned so much and would recommend this place to anyone who is struggling with addiction.

The staff has created a wonderful community atmosphere. The counselors, case managers, therapists and doctors are genuine in their concern for the clients. The groups are very insightful. The counselors do a great job of allowing the clients to participate in order to, not only make the session personal for the client, but also open the floor for other clients to relate. They also do a great job of explaining what addiction is and how it relates to us. I thank you all for a wonderful stay, while I hope to never be a client again (LOL) I will highly recommend the program to anyone who need it. 💖

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Legacy Healing Center. The staff truly cares about the people who walk through their doors, and it shows in the way they treat each individual with compassion, dignity, and respect — especially during some of the lowest and most difficult moments in their lives.

I personally know a couple of people who have gone through this program, and watching their transformation after leaving this facility has been incredible. The level of support, guidance, and genuine care they received made a lasting impact not only on them, but on the people around them as well.

It brings joy to my heart knowing there are establishments like this that are truly dedicated to helping people heal and rebuild their lives. The program is amazing, the staff is compassionate, and the difference they make in people’s lives is very real. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience with Legacy Healing. The staff goes above and beyond and really cares. They genuinely want to see each and every person that enters the program become a healthier, kinder, and more authentic version of themself that they were meant to be. From the moment I was greeted at the front desk at intake with Melissa I was treated cordially and respectfully. Every staff member I dealt with throughout the program treated me with the same respect. Everyone truly believed in me and supported me with absolutely no judgement. Legacy brings the best out of their clients by conducting effective groups and meetings ran by passionate counselors and therapists. The program holds the client accountable throughout the program whether it be PHP, IOP, or OP. The whole legacy team works together to create a path tailored for each client individually to give them the best possible chance at long term recovery. I can’t express enough how satisfied I am with the passion and commitment that legacy has put into their clients. Thank you Legacy.

I can honestly say that coming to Legacy Treatment Center was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. When I first walked in, I was carrying a lot of pain, shame, and fear about what my life looked like. I didn’t know if I could change. The staff here never judged me. They met me where I was at and treated me like a person, not a problem.

The therapists and counselors truly care. They don’t just go through the motions — they listen. They helped me understand the root of my addiction and gave me real tools to deal with it instead of running from it. The groups were powerful and helped me realize I wasn’t alone in what I was going through.

What stood out most to me was the support. On my hardest days, when I wanted to give up or shut down, someone was always there to remind me why I came and what I’m capable of. The structure, accountability, and community here made a huge difference in my recovery.

Legacy didn’t just help me get sober — it helped me start healing. It gave me hope again and showed me that a different life is possible if I’m willing to do the work.

I’m grateful for the time I spent here and for the people who invested in me when I didn’t fully believe in myself yet. If someone is serious about changing their life, this is a place that can truly help.

This place is a 5 star facility to get and stay clean. Jack director of client services is awesome. Melissa, the receptionist is so helpful. The technicians Daryl, Gabe, Matt, Andrew, Terrance, Steven, D, and DJ are amazing. The community is super welcoming and supportive. The place is clean and attractive with great apparel. Tons of activity’s to fit all of your needs.

Legacy has provided a strong foundation and steps to follow when I leave to maintain sobriety. From Melissa at the front desk explaining day to day steps at Clinical to my therapist and case worker, everyone has been doing supportive and helpful in making this experience good. I never want to come back and everyone is helping me accomplish this goal. The progressive sessions are poignant and helpful. The instructors are passionate and diverse. So far, it’s been a great experience!

I’m currently at Legacy in a PHP program. So far the program is very positive. I have type 1 diabetes and use a continuous glucose monitor. The staff is very accommodating allowing me to have access to my phone at all times to monitor my glucose levels. I really enjoy the weekly, mindfulness classes, Yoga and Rekki. They keep you very busy which for me is a necessity to overcome cravings and keep a positive attitude. I would recommend Legacy for anyone seeking help with substance abuse!!

Great in depth clinical program with very helpful and insightful facilitators. The support staff(BHTs) go out of their way to make sure your needs are met and questions get answered. Personal therapy sessions are tailored to the individual and cover a wide range of therapy types. The facility offers additional programs such as yoga, mindfulness and raki which provides a nice relaxing break from group therapy sessions. The facility is very clean and comfortable and inviting.

Hello everyone, my name is Cory von Dreusche and I’m here receiving 90 days of recovery at the Clinical building.. This is my 3rd and hopefully last recovery stay needed as I’m focused on a life long recovery program moving forward..

I would like to say that my experience here has been life changing in the most critical of ways. The counselors have all been warm and inviting. I feel that they have all provided me with a top level of care that exceed the previous two treatment facilities attended. It’s not just the amazing facility here at Legacy Healing that makes it more than recommendable to others in need of recovery treatment. My experience has enlightened me and inspired my path of what they call treatment and recovery which I renamed Training staff is impeccable and caring. Upon arrival I was welcomed by Melissa with open arms and a huge smile that made me want to stay instead of run away like most. Most Techs are great even knowing they are 1/2 my age. I have been integrated into Legacys treatment for A DAY and the staff, community, as well as the setting is nothing like any other experience; They provide lunch and other food for anytime, the staff call out our flunks, therapy is provided at the highest quality once or twice a week, an inhouse doctor prescribes and stays up to date on your medication journey. I am very grateful for Legacy Healing Center. They helped me saved my life before a few years ago, and when I realized I needed help again, I’m so glad I was able to make it back. Melissa at the front desk welcomed me back and Alisa the driver was friendly and remembered me too! I was thankful to see some of the employees that were here before get promoted, like Jack H, Mark C, Andrew C, because they were awesome last time and continue to be awesome to this day. I was happy to see Jeff and Kelly again, too. I’m also really happy to have met some of the new (to me) techs, like DJ, Dee, Alexis, Sara, and Steph. I also want to give a shoutout to every single lady tech on third shift; there’s too many to name because it would make this review into an essay, but all of those ladies have helped me, from helping me move or being there to talk to me when I needed some advice either late night or early in the morning.

The alumni team is awesome, there’s fun events or field trips and meetings on Zoom for when you leave. Shoutout to Dennis for running such an awesome alumni team. Thank you to everyone who helped me save myself again!! I’m forever grateful.

My experience so far has been nothing short of amazing! I came from a program called Milestone Addiction Treatment center and let me tell you, this place is a breath of fresh air. All of clinical is super friendly, welcoming, as well as punctual and very professional. They make sure to accommodate all your needs such as toiletries, supplies, etc. Melissa, who works at the front desk, is the best. My very first day here she took me in and showed me the ropes and introduced me to some people to make me feel at home. All of the techs are super friendly and will make sure you are a part of the community. Also the facilitators are awesome and taught me more about recovery and addiction in a week than Milestone taught me in 4 months. I could not be more grateful to be a part of this program and a part of his wonderful community of beautiful human beings. Thank you Legacy!!!

Legacy is amazing! My experience here has been 5 star. Theres so many great people here from the staff to the clients. You literally become a family.

My favorite facilitator here is Mark. He doesn’t sugarcoat anything. He tells you how it is, and hits to the heart how addiction really affects you.

The groups are organized, effective and worth your time here. There’s no other treatment center that has literally - key word: been “transformative” for me. I’m walking away from here with so much knowledge and wisdom that I don’t think I would’ve got anywhere else.

If you’re contemplating coming to Legacy, do it! You won’t regret it.

My experience at Legacy Healing Center in Parsippany was truly life-changing, and I cannot say enough about the incredible staff who supported me throughout my recovery journey.

I would first like to acknowledge the Housing Department. Communal living as an adult during one of the most vulnerable times in life can be challenging, but Sonia R. consistently took the time to check in with me, listen to my concerns, and address any issues promptly and compassionately. Her support helped make the transition much easier.

My individualized treatment plan was thoughtfully developed and carried out by an exceptional team: Silke M. (Case Manager), Michael R. (Therapist), Sarah W. (Medical), and Program Directors Devin O. and Amy S. I could not have asked for a more dedicated group of professionals to guide me through this process. Their sincerity, consistency, and follow-through made treatment not only manageable but truly transformative.

A special thank you goes to Michael R. His direct and honest approach was exactly what this New Yorker needed. Together, we uncovered the root causes of much of my suffering. He continually adapted our work through homework assignments, outdoor therapy sessions, and different literature for reflection. On top of that, he was always available and invested in my progress while on-site.

The facilitators at Legacy are incredible. I experienced many “aha” moments throughout treatment, but some of the most impactful growth happened in groups led by Glorious S. and Mark. Their ability to create a safe space for self-discovery and meaningful discussion played a major role in my recovery.

I also received valuable guidance from Silke M. that extended well beyond traditional case management. Her dynamic, thoughtful, and individualized approach left a lasting impression on me.

The alumni program was introduced early in my treatment, which helped ease many of my fears about life after discharge. Meeting graduates who were living healthy, fulfilling lives and who understood exactly what I was experiencing gave me hope when I needed it most. Thank you to Dennis F. for fostering such a strong alumni community. I am proud and grateful to now be a part of it.

In addition to the support I received, my spouse was provided with therapy twice a week through Alex H. These sessions helped my husband gain a deeper understanding of me, the recovery process, and himself. We both benefited tremendously and are looking forward to participating in Family Weekend.

If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction or mental health challenges, I wholeheartedly recommend Legacy Healing Center. The level of care, compassion, professionalism, and commitment to each client’s success is second to none. Legacy helped me reclaim a life I never thought possible, and for that, I will be forever grateful.

This treatment facility is top notch . I am so glad I chose Legacy Healing to get well. The staff is amazing! Silke my case manager is great. Michael my therapist is outstanding. I really liked the facilitator’s but a special shout out to Mark, Glorius and Kurt. Their style allowed me to open up and express what I’ve been feeling and why. Legacy has been a very good rehabilitation center. the techs are very good an always very very helpful. they are very good with medications as well and will always help if there is a problem. the houses are very nice and the groups are extraordinary and the group leaders are amazing people. I’ve had an amazing experience during my time here. The staff is actually caring and there for us, the facility itself is great, and even the food is great. They make you feel like you matter and actually listen to you. It’s definitely a place that prioritizes YOU and your recovery!

It feels like a home away from home. The housing doesn’t make you feel like you’re in treatment, instead it makes you feel as if you’re actually at home which is great preparation for when you go back into the real world.

They make sure you still feel human and you feel you are worthy of a healthy life! I’m forever grateful I found this place and will cherish my time here.

Legacy was the right place at the right time for me. I've heard people complain here but people are usually looking for someone to gripe about no matter where they go. Legacy is focused on helping people as much as possible including working through health insurance limitations and personal issues.

There are little things that the facility has initiated on certain days like having a barista serve clients, an ice cream truck, and a hot chocolate cart. Their staff is filled with diligent and caring people who are invested in the client's well being. In particular Heather always walks around with a smile on her face and she never hesitates to help with anything you need! Thank you so much everyone.

I am so grateful for my experience at this program. Every step of my journey was touched by staff who truly cared. I have been through treatment before, but the support I received here has stayed with me for years and genuinely helped save my life.

Paul was an incredible therapist whose compassion, honesty, and insight helped me do real work on myself. He challenged me when I needed it and supported me when I was struggling. The tools he gave me stayed with me long after I left. Even though he is no longer there, I will always be grateful for his guidance and the impact he made on my life.

Hannah was incredible at helping me with everything I needed, especially when things became hectic and it was time for me to move on. She helped me address my health issues and set me up for success in ways I will always appreciate.

Kurt had a gift for offering insights that opened my mind. His perspective helped me grow and see things differently. I truly miss his groups.

Miss Karen was one of the most comforting parts of my daily routine. She had a way of being both encouraging and steady, and I knew I could count on her whenever I needed a hug or a safe place to breathe.

Brittany was a positive light every single day. She carried herself with a calm and steady presence that helped keep the entire environment peaceful. Her encouragement and consistency made a real difference.

Bob was someone I truly looked up to. His groups made everyone feel valued and safe. He had a way of helping people open up that made real healing possible. His encouragement made me believe that I could actually do this.

Glorious was someone I could talk to about my faith and knew it would be met with understanding and encouragement. His support meant more to me than he may ever know.

Farrah was an amazing group facilitator who did a great job explaining the disease of addiction and helping us make real connections. Her presence and the clarity she brought to difficult topics made a strong impact on my journey.

Phyllis,y my psych doctor, was absolutely wonderful. She listened to everything I had going on, made thoughtful and appropriate medication decisions, adjusted things when needed, and supported me through incredibly difficult moments. She was uplifting, steady, and genuinely cared about my well being. I will always appreciate her.

I also want acknowledge the alumni staff, highlighting Dennis, Isabella, Bri, and Amanda. (Even though Amanda is no longer at Legacy, she was such an important part of my journey that I cannot leave her out.)The alumni staff checked on me long after I left and were constants in my life even when I was struggling. I always knew I could reach out to them, even in my worst moments. Their consistency, compassion, and genuine dedication have saved my life and the lives of countless others many times over.

There were many other techs, facilitators, and staff members who supported me every day. Not mentioning them by name here is only because of my memory and time. Multiple people have since left Legacy or no longer work there, but they were all part of my healing and growth. I am thankful for every single one of them.

This place is filled with people who truly care, and I would not be where I am today without their support.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting north Jersey
Legacy healing center, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I stepped into the community, I was welcomed with open arms by both the residents and the staff, who embody the spirit of unity and support that PHP is all about.

The design of the housing is not only aesthetically pleasing but also thoughtfully planned. The house I was in showcases modern amenities while ensuring that comfort and functionality are at the forefront. It’s clear that Legacy healing center prioritizes quality living, making sure that everyone feels at home.

What truly impressed me was the sense of community fostered by this PHP. They hold regular meetings, therapy, EMDR and support programs that bring residents together, encouraging positive relationships and a supportive atmosphere. I came to legacy a mess now after leaving I can finally look at myself in the mirror! Want to give a shout out to Amber the clinical director she is amazing went above and beyond for me. Group leaders Erika and Arlinda they are the best and really got me to open up in groups. My case manager Sarah I didn’t have to worry about anything she took care of my insurance and unemployment. She was a BOSS about it too she even got me to stay in the program longer which I totally needed it. My therapist’s Carly and Megan were fantastic! I mean the whole staff is great!! And to the techs Ryan Big Chris lil Chris Richard Garret House Scott Savannah I can’t thank you guys enough! Highly recommend this place to anyone!!

I owe this place so much. If you’re serious about sobriety and want to turn your life around, seriously consider this place. You have to be willing to put in the work but they will provide the tools. I have so many great things to say about Legacy but I really just want to thank the people along the way. Aside from other clients that will be life long friends, the staff is where this place really shines in my opinion. These people care about your well being and want to see you succeed. I want to thank my therapist Shelby, case manager Sarah, facilitators Arlinda, Ericka, and Felicia, and techs Chris Y., Perry, Garrett, House, Chris W., Ty, Savannah, and Richard. I really can’t thank you guys enough. I’m sure I forgot some people, but I really appreciate them all. This is my first time in treatment, and I can’t imagine going anywhere other than Legacy.

Legacy is an outstanding facility with even better staff! I would not be the person I am today if I hadn't walked through those doors. I am truly grateful for the time I've spent here.
The staff are all amazing, but a few go above and beyond every day they come into work. Sarah is an incredible case manager who shows she truly cares about the clients that enter her office. She goes out of her way to make sure that everyone is set up for success. Jess, the alumni director, has been great to me. She does a fantastic job reaching out to clients after they have left treatment and making sure they feel welcome if they ever need to return. Shelby has been my therapist while in treatment and she takes every measure to make sure her clients feel heard and cared for. Lastly, I'd like to recognize the BHT, Ty. Ty is incredibly helpful and easy to get along with and is always there if you need someone to confide in.
To all of the staff members I named as well as those who I did not name, thank you for making my time at Legacy comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable!
