Faith Based Rehab Jupiter Florida

Christian Drug Rehab in Florida

Many people find spiritual support to be incredibly valuable when trying to recover from drug and alcohol addiction in Jupiter.  Legacy Healing Center located in Pompano, Delray Beach, and Margate Florida offers Christians from Florida, and around the US, programs that provide spiritual guidance as an integral part of the support structure for their addiction treatment.

The idea of going to treatment for drug and alcohol addiction can be daunting. If you or a loved one is considering treatment, know that it is normal to feel anxious or fearful when facing the unknown, wondering what treatment will be like and what the outcome will be on the other side.  For those with strong religious faith, finding a faith-based treatment can be a great comfort. In fact, many of our participants credit their spirituality as the number one tool that gave them a sense of safety and security in the process as well as the strength to be able to succeed in recovery.

How are Faith Based Rehabs Different?

Facing addiction is challenging for anyone and no one can do it alone. Successful treatment requires a full team of supportive family, friends, medical professionals, and oftentimes, religious beliefs. In our Christ-centered faith-based program, our patients benefit from integrating the support of their spiritual beliefs with clinical therapies in substance abuse treatment in order to heal inside and out. Our program successfully treats drug and alcohol addiction as well as strengthens our patients’ relationships with God helping them to establish a strong spiritual foundation for recovery.

Our faith-based curriculum is fully integrated into all levels of care including our medically monitored detox, our partial hospitalization program, our intensive and regular outpatient programs, and our aftercare and long-term support programs. At Legacy, we strongly believe that addressing our clients’ wellbeing in body, mind, and spirit by combining spiritual and faith-based therapy with traditional treatment programs allow our patients to heal and recover in a fundamental way. If you are suffering from substance abuse and you feel like there is nowhere to turn, we can help you begin your spiritual journey because it is possible to take back your life.

What Does the Bible Say About Addiction?

The Bible is a source of divine guidance in the midst of human suffering.  The following passages provide strength comfort and inspiration.

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.      1 Corinthians 10:13

We rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.     Romans 5:3-5

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.      1 Peter 5:10

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed… My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.       James 5:16-20

The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.       Philippians 4:4-7

So, we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.       2 Corinthians 4:16-18
