One of the ways we aspire to be different from other treatment facilities is that we give you the freedom to dictate many of your recovery plan details. Over and above selecting the length of your program, clients are also allowed to decide what type of treatment plan they want to enroll in.

When possible, we always recommend that you opt to take part in our Partial Hospitalization Program. This structured program allows you to live on our campus for a set period of time. You will take part in different forms of therapy and activities throughout your day. This program is ideal for a variety of reasons. First and foremost, it gives you a safe and comforting environment during the first few days, weeks, and potentially months of sobriety. Additionally, this program supplies you with the extra encouragement and reinforcement that you may be lacking at home. Don’t forget, our team is available around the clock to support you at any point in your recovery.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program is a form of treatment between our Partial Hospitalization Program and our Outpatient Program. If you have been through the Partial Hospitalization Program, we recommend that you participate in our Intensive Outpatient Program. Whereas in PHP, you will eat, sleep and receive treatment 24 hours a day, our Intensive Outpatient Program, also referred to as IOP, allows you to receive at least nine hours of treatment throughout the week. Our counselor will work with you to design a treatment plan that helps you meet any personal or professional responsibilities.

Our Outpatient Program is ideal for a person who acknowledges that he or she needs treatment. However, they are unable to commit to our PHP or IOP options due to another responsibility. One of our counselors will sit with you to work out specific days and times that you will come to our facility for treatment.

Regardless of which program you decide to enroll in, you will still experience the same therapy forms at specific points throughout your treatment. One of the leading types of therapy that we have at Legacy is group therapy. Group therapy is similar to a 12-step meeting. If you have never been to a 12-step meeting before, you can expect to interact with other clients that also struggle with addiction. These guided meetings will cover a variety of different topics. Your fellow group therapy attendees will share their thoughts, feelings, and experience associated with that topic, and you will have the chance to do the same.

Individual therapy also plays a critical part in your recovery. If you have suffered from personal traumas that you don’t feel comfortable sharing in a group therapy session, you can speak about them with one of our counselors during one on one therapy.

Another type of therapy that we have at Legacy is behavioral counseling. It is not uncommon for a person that suffers from an addiction to also struggle with mental health issues. Sadly, many people think that this is something that they should be ashamed of. The reality, however, is much different. We can help you design a treatment plan that can address both mental illness and addiction.

Our family therapy option is something that makes Legacy Healing Center unique. As experts in the industry, we realize that addiction can usually also affect the close family members of the person that is struggling with the disease. If addiction has harmed your relationship with your family, you can decide to take advantage of our family therapy option. Your family can come to our facility for therapy sessions to reestablish and grow your relationship with them now that you are in recovery.

We also realize that recovery does not end when you leave treatment at Legacy. With this in mind, we developed our Addiction Aftercare program. This program allows you to stay in touch with the staff at Legacy and interact with other people who have completed their respective program. Throughout the year, we put together fun events that help you stay connected with other people from the Legacy community. Additionally, it gives you the flexibility to reach out to us if you ever need help finding a meeting or continuing in your treatment.

How Much Does Rehab Cost?

We understand that our clients come from all walks of life. In many cases, the cost associated with care is one of the leading concerns among prospective clients. While this is an understandable concern, you must remember that coming to our facility for treatment is an investment in yourself and your future. While you may have apprehensions regarding the cost, we encourage our clients to think about how much money you have spent during the span of your addiction. If you took that money and invested in yourself, imagine how much you could grow and change.
For clients that don’t have private insurance, we will do everything we can to work with you financially. Our team can speak with you about the possibilities of going on a payment plan that would make the cost associated with care more reasonable and easier to manage.

How Does Drug Detox Work?

We understand that some of our clients may still be actively consuming drugs when they initially call and speak to one of our intake specialists. Although you will undoubtedly feel physically and emotionally uncomfortable throughout your days in detox, you will always know that we are taking care of you to focus on getting better and transition onto a treatment plan.

How Does Alcohol Detox Work?

The concept of alcohol detox is similar to drug detox. Regardless of the severity of your addiction, within hours of the moment you took your last drink, you will begin to feel the physical consequences of no more prolonged drinking. In many cases, clients have indicated that they start to feel the onset of one of the worst hangovers in their life. Physical symptoms of withdrawal range and can include severe nausea, shakiness, feelings of anxiety, and general sickness.

How Long Is Rehab?

The decision regarding the length of your stay at our treatment facility is something that we strongly suggest you make with our counselors’ help. We understand that you may have other personal or professional responsibilities that need to be taken into account when designing your treatment plan, which is why we offer different time-frame choices. Keep in mind that the first “official” day of your treatment will begin after you have gone through our detox program if it is needed.

The first option is our 30-day program. This treatment plan is designed to provide you with the fundamental change in the environment you need to break the addiction cycle. During these first 30 days, you will immerse yourself in the various forms of therapy that Legacy offers and different activities on our campus.

Our 60-day program is a continuance of our 30-day program. If you were cautious about beginning your 30-day program, but during your stay, you realized that you need more time at our facility to cement your recovery, you can always request to extend your treatment plan. You can bring up this change during your individual counseling session, or you can ask to speak to a member of our team at any time.

When possible, we recommend that you opt to enroll in our 90-day long-term treatment plan. This course of treatment gives you the best possible opportunity to achieve sustained sobriety. Taking part in the daily habits and routines that Legacy puts in place throughout the day gives you an improved chance of continuing those same habits once you return home.

Does My Insurance Have Coverage for Rehab?

Legacy Healing Center in South Florida is proud to work with the majority of leading private insurance carriers. Most insurance companies will provide you with coverage for your treatment at rehab. It’s important to note, however, that coverage varies depending on the insurance company. For example, some companies will not cover the cost associated with detox. However, they will cover your full stay in our inpatient treatment program.

If you have private insurance, we always recommend that you let one of our intake specialists know during your first phone call. If you are unsure about the type of coverage you have when it comes to our facility, our team’s members can always help you find out the specifics. Keep in mind that if you recently attended a different rehab facility for treatment, there is a possibility that your insurance carrier will not cover your stay at Legacy Healing Center. Don’t worry, our staff will help you cut through any red tape that is associated with your insurance coverage.
